Research Ethics in Anthropology

With funding from the American Association of Anthropology (AAA) and its Small Ethics Grant program, three educational resources have been produced and are made freely available via YouTube video below.

The first video is for undergraduate anthropology students and introduces the basics of research ethics.

The second video is for junior faculty and graduate students in anthropology and discusses more advanced topics in conducting ethnographic and other anthropology research.

The third video is for members of Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) that review anthropology research and is intended to provide advice to IRB members when reviewing this type of research.

Anthropology folks might also be interested in The Organ Farm, an interactive bioethics fiction novel that features an anthropologist as the protagonist.
